Description:
FCT understands the demand to be able to manufacture a relay torch quickly and easily, whilst still providing each customer with a unique torch. We have developed and created relay torches for the Olympics.
Our relay torch designs are customised to meet your specific design needs for a particular event. We provide a range of colours or surface treatments and touch ups for your torch, including paint and anodising. We can print your logo on the outside of the torch, or print your logo and pattern on the vinyl packaging of the entire torch.
The relay torch uses a special propane/butane gas mixture. The gas is provided in special canisters which can operate the torch for 10-12 minutes. The relay torch is easy to disassemble, and the gas tank can be replaced without any equipment.
Relay torches can be lit with matches, cigarette lighters or other similar small flame devices. During the torch relay, the relay torch can also be lit by another relay torch. The ignition device is located on the top of the torch, and the airflow is controlled by turning the on/off knob on the back of the torch. To turn off the flame, simply close the gas valve with a torchbearer or qualified torch operator.
The FCT relay torch meets the performance standards required by the Olympic Games. We are qualified and have experiences with creating relay torches that can be operated in an environment with winds of 100 km/h and rainfall of 50 mm/h. We can also develop unique torches for smaller sized events.
