FCT Flames supplied a unique ‘fire on water’ effect during the Opening Ceremony. With the burner shaped to form a traditional ‘Buta’ shape, the flame propagated around a shallow pool of water as required by the creative director.  FCT designed, supplied, installed and operated the equipment for the client. Having delivered something similar back in 2004 for the Athens Olympics Rings of Fire, FCT was able to draw on its experience to deliver this effect in a cost effective, safe and timely manner.
