FCT Flames was awarded the contract to supply 2 cauldrons for the Pan American Games held in Toronto in 2015. The large cauldron located at the CN Tower Plaza outside Rogers Stadium was a very colourful structure drawing on the TO2015 colour palette, using laser cut patterns of the sporting events in the scales of the object which represented a pine cone. A smaller cauldron was provided, located inside Rogers Stadium for the opening ceremony. The scales for this cauldron had laser cut images provided from local indigenous groups. FCT had the structures manufactured at Scene Ethique in Montreal, and supplied the gas valve trains, burners and control panels as well as managing the erection and installation of the structures.
